SO GRATEFUL.

Dear Friends,

This time of the year, I am so thankful to all of you for following Bombshell-art and being here with me on my artistic journey!

The last couple of years have seen so many changes for me and my art.  I evolve, and the work evolves with me.  Will I create pinups again?  Probably.  But in the meantime the art is taking on a new look and new expression for me.  The terms "beauty", "femininity", "inclusivity", and "confidence" have all taken on new meanings.  I'm still working through the changes and am not quite sure where I'll end up.

It's about the PROCESS, not the finish.

So this holiday season, I'm not having the usual busy "holiday sales" season.  I"m taking a step back and instead, completing only one-of-a-kind miniatures by commission.  No sales calendars to maintain as I move closer to the end of the year.  I still create art every single day.  But I'm doing it for ME, without necessarily an intention to sell, at least, not right now.

I'm realizing that while I create art, I also AM art.  Constantly growing, changing, evolving, improving.  And I'm finally realizing -- and accepting -- that sometimes while we grow, we appear to take a step or two BACK in order to move FORWARD.  And that it's okay.  Not only is it okay, it's necessary.
