This season, see the Pinups "in the flesh" in TWO Vermont gallery locations!
Seasons Greetings, Friends!
What a year it's been so far. So many exciting changes for me and for Bombshell-art!!! I am thrilled to end the year by announcing that this season, you can see my pinup prints in TWO galleries in Vermont!
While I no longer live in Rutland, I am still a member artist at the Chaffee Art Center . I am so happy that my pinups will be there to purchase this holiday season!
And even if you don't wish to purchase, my lovely gals would still welcome a visit from each and every one of you.
I am also so happy to share that my work is now being shown in Burlington, Vermont's art district at The S.P.A.C.E. Gallery !
Here I am posing with the gals, who made some new, exciting "friends" on this wall:
I just love seeing how curators use the available space in a gallery and how they group together artwork. I think my pinups go so well with the other artwork here! S.P.A.C.E. is rather small, and there were over 400 works of art installed. Amazing! Every single piece looks fantastic; you really should see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!
The Chaffee show lasts through January 7th; the S.P.A.C.E show through January 29th, 2022. I promise that if you visit, you will NOT be disappointed!
One last pic!
As some of you may know, I adore vintage clothing and always prefer slow fashion. For the S.P.A.C.E opening, I broke out my vintage (1960's!!!!) mink coat. It's a car coat (mid-thigh length) and is absolute perfection. I found it at Merchant's Hall in Rutland a few years ago when out with a friend; the theatre was selling some old costume items. This coat fits me like a GLOVE. Absolute perfection. Even the lining is perfect (linings are usually the first bit to go), and has the original owner's initials embroidered into it. Wearing it is Heaven! I felt it absolutely fitting for a gallery opening and I was right.
I hope you all are having a wonderful end to your 2021. Here's looking ahead to a bigger and better 2022!
Love always,
Heather XOXO
